HSAG’s Aaron Atkinson Receives 2022 American Lawyer Recognition in Appellate Law

ALM Media and Martindale-Hubbell recently awarded attorney Aaron Atkinson of Denver’s Hackstaff Snow Atkinson and Griess the 2022 Top Rated Lawyer distinction in Appellate Law. The most recent award is amongst many others Atkinson has earned in past years, including the honorable distinction of 2021 AV Preeminent, also through Martindale Hubbell.

Atkinson’s award will be highlighted in the 2022 Top Rated Lawyers™ sections of The American Lawyer, The National Law Journal, and Corporate Counsel publications. Aaron was selected as a Top-Rated Lawyer based on his high peer ratings for his legal ability and ethical standards.

Atkinson practices primarily in civil litigation in both state and federal courts. Early in his career, he represented subcontractors and general contractors in lawsuits concerning construction defects. He has obtained judgment awards combined to total over $1,000,000 against defendants in Colorado courts. His other career highlights to date also include:

  • Defending the State of Colorado with the Attorney General’s Office
  • Successfully representing clients in arbitration proceedings
  • Appearing before administrative boards
  • Colorado Supreme Court Pro Bono Achievement 2020

Congratulations, attorney Aaron Atkinson on yet another job well done!

Their collection of legal capabilities is crucial for any legal professional.

Martindale-Hubbell has been well-known for evaluating the strong legal ability and high ethical standards of American attorneys through a Peer Review Rating system for well over a century. Their 1887 edition of Martindale’s American Law Directory was the first publication to provide attorney ratings. Before this, there was no way of truly knowing if the attorney you were thinking about hiring was skilled in their chosen legal field, ethical, or trustworthy.

Their mission continues today by providing verified ratings for attorneys that include their legal abilities and ethical standards as determined by their peers and based on reviews from their former and current clients. While the standards and format of the Peer Review Rating system have progressed significantly since its inception in the 1800’s – the purpose remains the same: Provide the public trusted information they can use when they need the services of an attorney or law firm.
