Hackstaff, Snow, Atkinson & Griess, LLC is proud to announce that Jim Hackstaff and John Snow are chairing Denver Over the Edge for the 10th consecutive year! This annual event raises funds and awareness for the Cancer League of Colorado, a 100% volunteer organization that provides grant funding for cancer research and patient care.
This year’s event takes place September 7 to 9, 2023 at McGregor Square.
Over the Edge is a unique fundraising event that allows participants to do more than just solicit donations. Any participant who raises at least $1,000 toward the event has the chance to rappel down the face of McGregor Square in downtown Denver. No previous rappelling experience is required, as event staff provide all the necessary safety equipment and instruction.

If rappelling is outside of your comfort zone, you can donate to support the HSAG team’s efforts instead. You can also purchase tickets for the cocktail party on Friday, September 8, 2023.
All proceeds raised from the party and the rappelers go directly to Cancer League of Colorado’s research funding and support service grants for patients in Colorado.
Founded in 1969 by five women whose families were directly affected by cancer, Cancer League of Colorado’s mission is to secure the cure or control of cancer by raising funds to support innovative cancer research and cancer-related services in the state of Colorado. By working closely with the University of Colorado Cancer Center, the group strives to stay at the forefront of discovery into causation and therapies of many types of cancer.
An all-volunteer organization, Cancer League of Colorado has raised and awarded over $20 million for cancer research and patient care.
